Cookies!!

My mom and I made Christmas cookies on monday night. She came to our house and we made 4 different types of cookies to pass out this year. I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THE HELP! I also feel so very blessed that we could share in moments and make memories such as these!

While my mom and I made cookies Evan played with Aubrey and her cousin Eli, who joined Evan and Aubrey for the day.

You suction cup it to the floor and it eventually jumps because the tension in it's long legs peel it from the floor. this toy provides MANY moments of entertainment these days.

I was working for the morning so Evan went to his parent's house to show Eli and Aubrey the train table he and his dad built.

Happy 2nd Birthday Aubrey!!

Well, I can not believe it but my baby is 2. Evan and I took her picture at midnight on her birthday and we are just in awe! The Lord has blessed us in deed with this little girl and she has changed our lives in so many unexpected ways! We love you more than we could ever imagine Aubrey and we can not wait to see the Lord's plans take shape in your life!

We sang and played instruments in the morning to wake her up and sat down to a waffle breakfast before opening presents!

She couldn't wait to tear into her gifts!

We made Aubrey a knot blanket for her birthday and it turned out great!

Many would not think it was a great accomplishment, BUT I would have NEVER have thought I would make a blanket; even if it is the easiest type to assemble. :D

Happy Birthday Aubrey!!

We had Aubrey's party at McDonalds, on her birthday, and she had a blast. She talked about her party all day and was very excited to see everyone. It was as though she was in disbelief every time another person arrived! I really think she loved having all of her friends in one place! Here are a few pictures from the day! I made ice cream cone cupcakes for the occasion and they were SUPER YUMMY!

Evan has a trick of popping fries out of their container and he thought it would be a fun game for people.... Ryan caught the fry but these were not the party games I was thinking of :D

Lunch With Santa!

Despite the look on Sarah's face the lunch with Santa was GREAT! We ate, we colored, we watched a magic show, and then the big guy arrived. Aubrey buried her head in my chest and kept saying NO NO Santa. I went to turn her around and she applied a death grip. What can I say other than her daddy is THRILLED!

I needed to include this picture and just say yes it is VERY cute, but the two little girls in this picture always hug and whisper to one another. Tiare and I are always wondering what they are saying and it always looks as though they are plotting a mischievous deed... they are in love and we are waiting to see the trouble these two best friendst stir up in the future!

Some New Tricks

Evan and I celebrated our 5th anniversary on December 3rd. Evan had a brilliant idea of visiting some of our favorite restaurants and ordering appetizers. We had a great night together and I am so very thankful for the blessing of this man as my husband! The Lord knew what he was doing and each day is a reminder!

Some close friends offered to watch Aubrey for the night. When we dropped her off Kim asked if they could celebrate her birthday because her party would be nuts. We said sure and while we were having dinner Evan and I received a text and picture of Aubrey blowing out birthday candles. They had a mini party, cake and all! When we picked Aubrey up she had a birthday gift ready and waiting for her to take home :D

She enjoys the stroller and crib VERY MUCH! She tells us she is going shopping and takes the diaper bag and stroller to the door. Next thing we know she is hauling the crib over too and then sitting in it. THANK YOU PHILOS! It is exactly what Aubrey would have picked out!
