Spring Is Near!

We had a string of nice days last week and we were outside for EVERY ONE of them!

We made trips to the park and played in the drive and front yard. It is incredible to see all that Aubrey is experiencing, exploring, and learning about! She is miss independent lately and it is amusing to see her little mind working!

Evan has been getting things ready for us to start planting and Aubrey thought her vegetables would be perfect for Daddy's garden! YUMMY!

Another day of gardening!

Aubrey was on the look out for something to plant with her Daddy...

OOOHHH we found corn...

in the ground it goes...

and now it's time to dig again!

Aubrey was showing Evan rocks, seeds, and berries. Anything she found that she could carry over she would scream "DADDY LOOK WHAT AUBREY FOUND!"

Spring is almost here and I can not wait to start discovering with our little girl!

Will You Be Mine?

I have asked Evan, since Aubrey arrived, to celebrate Valentine's Day. My dad always gave me a card and a gift each February 14th. I looked forward to it and loved being thought of by my father. I do not think the age of a child or their level of understanding matters... I truly believe in the importance of father daughter relationships and the love that can be fostered and shown from the day in which they meet. May Aubrey know now and forever how much she is loved and how truly beautiful she is!

My First Set Of Wheels!

Aubrey was able to try out her new set of wheels a few weeks ago when the weather became nice for a day. She really enjoyed riding and it is amazing to see the progress she is making! She could barely reach the pedals at Christmas and now she is reaching and turning them!! She also took some time to enjoy some puddles!

I guess the bike was a gift for two ...

I LOVE this picture! It just really speaks to the wonder of even a puddle to a child!

Snow Day Fun

We ventured out again today; just Aubrey and I.

Aubrey was much more at home in the snow now that it has been plowed.

She laughed a lot when she was able to find very large snowballs and throw them at me!

The BLIZZARD!

I can not believe it really happened!!! We had a winter storm when they said we would!

School has been canceled... Evan couldn't go tot work... and Aubrey was wanting to go out!

We ventured out to see it all and to try sledding.... we ended up back inside moments later and bunkered down on the couch....

Aubrey was being very brave and the moment she walked out she fell and well you can tell what her thoughts were about the winter storm from this picture...

We had snow drifts up to 4ft in the front and and over a foot in the back by our garage... It was incredible to see it all, but truly beautiful to see the power!

Aubrey was very interested in the snow blowers that came by to n bury our sidewalk.
