Fall Fun

We officially LOVE the fall!! The weather has been great and Aubrey seems to be more than enjoying herself! Daddy and Aubrey have spent a lot of time outside. The new favorite activity is anything leaves...

We painted and carved pumpkins last week. This proved to be a winner as well. Except for when Aubrey was yelling to not hurt her pumpkin!

We had a favorite of Aubrey's over one night for cookie making. We learned very quickly why Emily was a favorite, Aubrey did whatever and Emily could not for the life of her say no. :D

We have also been trying to do new not so ordinary things... like fireworks in October.

Our Newest Blessing

After 18 months of waiting on the Lord we are expecting a new little bundle! Aubrey was VERY excited to see her baby sister for the first time and to have confirmation that is was in fact a little girl! We praise God for the friends and family that have lifted us up, checked in, and walked this road with us! Here she is, Tinkerbell (Aubrey believes that name would be best).

Zoo Days

It was a beautiful 80 degree day and after Aubrey got out of school we were off to the zoo!

We looked for giraffes...

saw a HUGE hippo!

Rode the carousel, thanks MeMe!

We saw a lion up close and personal!

This lion walked across the yard and Aubrey quickly sat in her stroller when he approached the glass to get a better look.

We looked for seals who were still enjoying their pools; even though our pool is now closed.

It was a really fun day! Aubrey is getting so big! She enjoys everything in such a different way now and it is a true pleasure to see and experience the world with her!

Kuipers Apple Picking

It is officially a tradition! We went apple picking again this year and all the kiddos LOVED it!

It turned out to be a gorgeous day and everyone had their fill off apples from the orchard.

We love our crowns and since decorating for Halloween, Aubrey can not seem to do anything without her bucket!

We came home from school a few days ago and found this on our window...

the praying mantis has visited each day for a week now and Aubrey gets awfully excited waiting for him.

We had a game night at our house a few weekends ago and this is why full time work is not for me... Leigh returned to working full time a few weeks ago.
