HaPpY VaLeNtInEs DaY!

We sat down to make cards for our friends at school and our daddy last week.

I can not believe how far Aubrey has come since starting school. She did so well with drawing, cutting, coloring, and gluing. She is getting big very quickly and I really do not know where the time has gone! I love you Aubrey and wish I could capture EVERY moment!!

Emersyn Ruth

We welcomed Emersyn Ruth into our family on February 13th at 8:07am! She weighed in at 7lbs and 8oz and measured 20 1/2 inches. Everything went really well and we are home together adjusting to the goings on of life for a family of four. Here are some pictures from the time of arrival to today:

Aubrey made it home shortly after and LOVED on her sister! She was speechless and laughed and reported everything Emersyn did to us.

As many of you have noticed Emersyn, like Aubrey, looks EXACTLY like her daddy!!

We can not wait to see what the road ahead brings!

Gift "rapping"

Evan has had the high school students volunteer to wrap donated Christmas gifts for a few years. Last year they sent invitations out with Evan's head on a rappers body. This was a very clever and really hilarious thing to see at church one Sunday morning. This year Evan took it a step further and had everyone make up a rap to sing during the night. He wrote a rap and dressed for the occasion. I can't wait till next year to see the brilliance that happens!!

Building Up

We are preparing for our new arrival!

Evan wanted to build Aubrey's new bunk bed and it is coming along very well!!

Aubrey checks on him often and is waiting to help with the paint! She would like the bed to be pink, but we purchased white paint with her the other day. We also bought a small can of pink for the stairs; that was a VERY exciting trip to Menards!!!

Christmas... At School

Aubrey's Christmas Party was last week and we had the pleasure of spending the day with her and her friends! We made a project for the refrigerator, listened to a story, had snack, and then listened to a few songs.

I love the bow!! She is quite the character lately!!

We made chocolate muffins for daddy later, it may have been the days highlight for her! :D
