A Few Moments Around Our Home

One of Aubrey's gifts for Christmas was a table and chair set. She enjoys giving tea parties and always invites friends to join her at the table :D
Before you judge the following photo.... this is purely for family who is not here to see and enjoy the every day antics of our child! Aubrey LOVES going under blankets...
So for all who can not be here this one is for you!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We spent New Years at a friends house.
Here are a few pictures to explain Aubrey's Holiday Season!
Life is ROUGH! :D

A Few Days In The City!

We spent 2 days in the city after Christmas with Evan's parents and Grandmother. We stayed a block off of Michigan Avenue and it was wonderful! the VERY best part was the indoor swimming pool! Aubrey wanted us to spend EVERY moment there! We arrived and immediately put on suits!
There's snow on the ground, but we went swimming!
Aubrey LOVED the "hot pool" (or as we call it, the hot tub).
The first night we went to Navy Pier....
Aubrey really liked their garden area and fountains!
She was climbing on everything and standing on tip toes to see!
We ate and then went to the Winter Wonderfest at Navy Pier... it was gorgeous!
Daddy and Aubrey LOVED watching the Zamboni on the ice!
We went to the Children's Museum the next day and Aubrey had a blast!!
I had no idea the museum was so big and that they had so much for little ones!!!
She spent A LOT of time in this particular area!
OH AUBREY!
She also enjoyed shopping!
We went for Indian food before heading home and when we started to drive this is what happened to Aubrey...

Our Own Family Christmas!

We had our family Christmas on Christmas morning. We went to my parent's house around 1 so it gave us plenty of time to open socks and presents. This Christmas was the best we've had. Just to see the joy on Aubrey's face and to hear her scream what is it mom before opening each gift was a gift all unto itself. Evan and I bought Aubrey a tricycle and she was in shock when she opened it. She just stared. A few minuted after opening all of her other gifts she went back and said "a bike for Aubrey mom!" and we couldn't get her off of it.
Aubrey's new best friends... Mr. and Mrs.
We had to hang each and every ornament we received this Christmas ...
the moment we received it!
Merry Christmas!

Daddy and Nana's Birthday

We celebrated Nana and Evan's Birthday together this year to make things a little easier! Aubrey was a happy birthday singing professional!! She helped Nana and Daddy with their gifts and had a little fun of her own after all was opened up.
A painting by Aubrey.
Wowsers a bow!!!
Aubrey had fun with Daddy's jack stands!
TA-DA!!!

I thought I would add this little ditty for those who were unable to attend because of skiing reservations!

More Christmas... Evan's P's

We spent Christmas Eve at Evan's Parents house. It was a very fun and relaxing day! Both were needed! :D Aubrey finally got to open all the gifts she had been starring at for so long and she was happy and eager to tear into them :D
THE TRAIN and it is now child proof... plexiglass :D
Ready for Waffles!
Aubrey's new trick! And, SOOOO serious!
We still LOVE the family project stocking!
We were VERY excited about this puzzle!
As soon as the books were opened she was reading.
We read a Curious George story EVERYDAY!
Aunt Bethany... these were a HIT! As you can see Aubrey was practicing her singing....
