Gift "rapping"

Evan has had the high school students volunteer to wrap donated Christmas gifts for a few years. Last year they sent invitations out with Evan's head on a rappers body. This was a very clever and really hilarious thing to see at church one Sunday morning. This year Evan took it a step further and had everyone make up a rap to sing during the night. He wrote a rap and dressed for the occasion. I can't wait till next year to see the brilliance that happens!!
Brennan, these were taken for your viewing pleasure.

Building Up

We are preparing for our new arrival!
Evan wanted to build Aubrey's new bunk bed and it is coming along very well!!
Aubrey checks on him often and is waiting to help with the paint! She would like the bed to be pink, but we purchased white paint with her the other day. We also bought a small can of pink for the stairs; that was a VERY exciting trip to Menards!!!

Stay tuned for more pictures as the job becomes completed!

Christmas... At School

Aubrey's Christmas Party was last week and we had the pleasure of spending the day with her and her friends! We made a project for the refrigerator, listened to a story, had snack, and then listened to a few songs.
I love the bow!! She is quite the character lately!!
We made chocolate muffins for daddy later, it may have been the days highlight for her! :D

HaPpY 3rd BirThDaY!!!

We strated the week of Aubrey's birthday with a school party. Evan wanted to read the book for her class and she brought in her friend Jingle to help. Jingle barks, sings, and cries along with the book as you read. The kids thought he was a riot!
On Aubrey's birthday we decorated the downstairs for her and we woke her up with instruments and singing. At breakfast she let us know that she liked our decorations, but for her next birthday she did not want the band or singing. Thank you Aubrey, we will make note of that.
I purchased a doll house in the summer and it has been waiting in our attic since then for this day!! Aubrey has been asking for a doll house since November and she has been waiting to see if she would get one until this day! She unwrapped all of the accessories before finding the house and all she could say is I don't believe it, a doll house, for me!
We then had the requested breakfast of waffles!
Then opened a few more gifts from others... here are the picks Aunt Bethany; we also have video :D
Aubrey also received a tinkerbell dress for her birthday and well, she was in it all day!!
We ended the day with a movie and popcorn of all flavors!
I still can not believe our baby is 3!! She has blessed our lives beyond measure and we truly can not wait to see what lies ahead for her! HaPpY BiRtHdAy Aubrey, we love you!

A Little Bit of Snow

Aubrey awoke to a little snow last week and we IMMEDIATELY dressed and went out to play!
She then proceeded to tell me that it was Christmas and Santa was coming so she could open gifts. Oh the things our daughter thinks of!
