Zoo and Other Summer Fun!

We have had lots of fun this summer!

There have been many vacations, fun times with friends, hot days at the zoo, parties, and pool time fun!! Here are a few pictures that have come from our Summer Fun...

Our niece and nephew, Norah and Eli, came and spent a few nights at our house this past weekend. Aubrey had a BLAST!!! She still calls out for them and laughs! We played in our pool, went to a few parks, made apple pi, played A LOT! and went to a local place called Blackberry Farm. There was a train show going on and Eli LOVES trains!!

It was so wonderful having them spend time with us and we hope all of the kids can grow up having and remembering times they have spent together!

Our Family's New Hair!!

We took a family trip to Michigan a few weeks ago. We rented a cottage, thanks to Evan's sister Bethany, and we stayed through the fourth of July weekend and week. It was a great time for the family to get together and Aubrey had a blast experiencing a few new things. She saw fireworks for the first time, she swam in Lake Michigan, and she experienced sand. SHE REALLY DISLIKED the idea of sand! She would begrudgingly walk in it if she had her shoes on, but if it touched her she would say no no no until she was rid of it. The trip was an adventure and a huge blessing to our family. It seems as though we have been running on empty and it was such a blessing to get away as a family! We are off and running again and just in time for the school year to start! There are way too many pictures... SORRY!!!
