Morton Arboretum

We have had some beautiful weather lately! We went to the Arboretum today and explored! 

Evan jumped into the fun with Aubrey. Here are a few pictures from the day!

I noticed while uploading she has the same sleeper on all the time; must be a favorite!

aPpLe PARTY!!

So we had an apple party at our house! WHY you ask? 

We happen to have an apple tree in our front yard and a few neighbors, along with ourselves, have been picking the apples! We decided last week that we would go all out and have a baking party!

This was the second round of coring and peeling...

 and...

We ended up making apple cookies, an apple pie, and 4 loaves of apple bread. Everything is SUPER yummy and many people will have surprises coming their way soon! Kristen and I baked from 4 to 11pm... we were a little nuts over this!!

Sandwich Fair

It was that time of year again! Aubrey has been anticipating the Sandwich Fair for months! Sh was looking forward to the rides and animals. We ended up getting Aubrey an unlimited wristband and she taught is what it was like to be a kid again!! Here is a sampling of the day...
