Aubrey has been sitting up on her own and playing. Here is the proof . ;) She is becoming WAY to big WAY to fast!

God has been good! We are continually amazed at how He provides for Aubrey and us daily. Psalm 113:3 says, "From the rising of the sun to its going down, the Lord's name is to be praised". What a blessing to be a parent and bare witness to the miracle of His creation.  It is a joy to watch our daughter grow and see her happiness as she discovers life with our family and friends!

The Baby Cook

This is my most favorite food appliance EVER! Evan and I stayed up partying the other night with this little beauty! We put Aubrey to bed and watched NCIS in the kitchen while cooking Green Beans, Zucchini, Peaches, and Papaya. If anyone needs a baby food maker THIS IS IT! The Baby Cook Steams, purees, and re-heats. We received our Baby Cook as a gift and it makes preparing food a breeze! As a side note, a friend who keeps up on the latest and greatest told me that Tori Spelling uses the same appliance.

Pool Time Fun!

WELL AUBREY LOVES WATER! She has officially become a water baby; which is hard to even fathom considering our first experience. We brought Aubrey to MiMi and Pop Pop's pool on Monday and she was one heck of a water baby...

She enjoyed playing in the fountain that bubbled.

BEWARE of Aubrey when she is trying to swim! It was really funny when Aubrey would splash herself and then pout. She warmed up to the idea of water in the face eventually.

Aubrey also enjoyed sitting with dad.

It was a great family day at the pool! We were thankful to visit and enjoy!

Here is a video of some water splashing fun!

Seeing Great Grandma Davis

We visited Aubrey's Great Grandma Davis and Aubrey was the center of attention. Every little old lady and little old man stopped us to talk about Aubrey. We answered a variety of questions and showed off a few of our tricks. Great Grandma Davis was so happy to see Aubrey and laughed so much during Aubrey's dinner time show.
The face of a Holmstad magnet!

Who Said Bad Days Wouldn't Come...

Well this was the perfect picture for our day...
I was awakened at 7am by an unusual sound. Aubrey was in her crib crying and wanting to get up. Our normal routine includes 8am waking followed by play and a 1.5 hour nap at 9am. Instead we whined until lunch and then spread our meal about the table and ourself. The day improved when we left to see dad in downtown Geneva.

Aubrey was given a balloon on our walk and after weighing the options of it bursting in her face or having endless entertainment for a whining baby we chose the later of the two. We chose wisely because this is what happened...

When Aubrey was done with her balloon she began finding other entertaining options which included but were not limited to...

YUMMY!!

The day was definitely a good reminder to always remember "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it". It was a day filled with moods we have not yet witnessed and moments that made us smile. Aubrey is one crazy girl who loves to discover even during melt downs!
