The Zoo...

Aubrey's Cousin Eli climbing like every good boy should!
Amelia trying to be like her big brother.
Amelia wanted to know if she was as big as a bear... almost.
Eli is a little closer than his sister.
We were missing big sister Norah when we went to the zoo, but she was at school.
So here is the rest of the gang!
This is Baby Sarah... 11 months.
This is Eli... 4 years old.
Last but not least, this is Amelia... 2 years old.
Many people were stopping us to admire and to compliment Aubrey's hat!
Thanks to her Aunt Bethany her hat was a hit!
I can definitely see what all the fuss was about can't you?!?!

These Days Continued....

Some more shots that make me smile.... they were on our camera.

Aubrey LOVES Maisey Mouse so we picked up some books for her from the library and we have not been able to read anything since...

Aubrey asks to drive daddy's car a lot! She will immediately "no driver's liscense", but sometimes her dream comes true and she gets behind the wheel...

checking out the mirror...
does she look like she has done something wrong to you?

These Days...

Moments at our house are very seldom dull and they have been filled with much more laughter recently! Aubrey is growing SOOOO quickly and there are so many days I wish I could freeze her and keep her young forever! But, I know the Lord has great plans for her life and each day holds its own wonderful moments! We are blessed to call her ours and thank the Lord for who she is and where she is at each and every day!

Aubrey use to be scared of Evan's bike... she would run whenever he started it and would say no daddy no... but now, she LOVES IT!
I LOVE this picture! Aubrey like to have tea parties and recently
she has been inviting her non-human friends to join her...
We re-arranged our house again since taking it off the market and Aubrey thought we should leave our glass cabinets in the living room on the floor... I think not.
We are taking nightly walks before Aubrey goes to bed...
she loves when we stop by the park...
especially when she gets to swing...
she also LOVES flying her daddies airplane! Evan built an airplane for the two of them to enjoy and must say they are building GREAT memories!
Evan recently returned home from a trip and Aubrey spent the evening telling us that she was going on a trip and walked around with his suitcase.
She wet as far as wanting her jacket on and telling us Bye Bye...

Apple Picking

We have established a tradition now... when fall arrives we go apple picking!
Last year we were dressed in winter gear and Aubrey was in a snow suit...
this year it was 85 degrees! What a BEAUTIFUL day!!
We went to a nearby farm and picked apples, ate apples, played in corn, picnicked, picked pumpkins, rode ponies, and shared a great time with good friends!
There has been a lot going on lately in this crazy thing we call life... our day at Kuipers Family Farm truly resemble what God breathed when you read:
"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!" - Psalm 118:23-25

Aubrey and Kevin sharing a wagon ride...
Olivia waiting for our tractor
We are off to pick some apples!!

Aubrey began running around looking for apples IMMEDIATELY!!
There were apples all over the ground because it was the last weekend of apple picking.
All of the apples on the ground made one thing VERY EASY...
Aubrey and the kids had everything they needed with in reach and they ate...
and ate...
and ate....
She also helped us pick our apples.
Aubrey did a great job finding them on her own...
Once Aubrey was done picking she sat down with her great gal pal Olivia
and they enjoyed the days weather and work...
After our bags were filled we sat and enjoyed the day with great friends...
Mario, Leigh, and their daughter Olivia.
Colleen, Bob, and their son Kevin.

And of course... US!
Leigh was very proud of her ONLY FROM THE TREE apples!
We had two bags until...
Aubrey broke one trying to get apples and then Evan had a great idea...
We had a good old fashion duck race! This was hilarious!
The kids (daddies) really got into it!
You pump water and the rubber duckies "swim" down a tube to a tub at the end of the tube.
We swung on horses made from tires.
Evan REALLY enjoyed himself... can't you tell!
We also played in the best thing ever!!!!
There were a few large "corn boxes", the kiddos were able to scoop, pour, and dig.
Aubrey was buried in the corn and preferred that much more than sand!
We then picked pumpkins and Aubrey found a small one for herself!
Then she found some great pumpkins for us to take home and carve!
Before going home we rode ponies...
Aubrey was ready to go home after the long day!!!!
We have made apple pies and apple cakes since our day of picking!
