Adventure with a capital A!

There is nothing better than being a mom! What an incredible blessing to wake in the morning to the sound of Aubrey in the next room and to go on incredible adventures like these! I had a blast picking out Aubrey's bathing suit with another mom a few weeks ago. We had been waiting for the perfect day and on Saturday Daddy, Aubrey, and I headed to the pool around 12. We figured she would love the water because she loves bath time. WE WERE CRAZY! This is Aubrey before...

She was having fun seeing the sights; then... we entered the water!

After a few dips into the pool and around the lazy river we called it a day. Aubrey calmed herself down eventually, but the whole way home she slept and whimpered in the back of the car. She really gave Evan and I a few good laughs at the pool! It is moments like these that truly take your breath away; moments that become incredible memories!

The Aquarium

My Aunt Tiare wanted a play date; so we went to the Shedd Aquarium. It was a lot of fun! We ran through the rain to wait in what they were saying was a 2hr line. Thankfully my Aunt was there already and right up front. We walked around, ate, and played. I loved watching fish swim everywhere. Here are a few pictures from my day with the family:

This is when we knew it was time to go... I was nodding off and dad was, well, tired!

So we walked in the rain back to where we parked. Mom and Dad were soaked, but I stayed dry and HAPPY! The good news is, it only took 3 hours to get home in Chicago traffic.

Daddy and I...

These are a few pictures of me in my Summer Duds and  another Daddy trick. I smile and scream to entertain that guy!

Dog Sitting...

Mimi and Pop Pop leave town sometimes and let me watch their dog.
His name is Shadow and we LOVE each other! I am a big squealer when he is around and  he likes giving kisses. The picture above is of the last time he visited; daddy loves giving him a bath; can you not tell!
Well, anyways, Shadow was dropped off on Sunday and MiMi fed me my lunch. I thought everyone would love this video and they would get a real flavor for my eating habits! ENJOY!

Dad and his service project...

My dad went to Scott County Tennessee for a week to work on a house that needed flooring help. He went with 43 others from our church. This was the "crew" who helped him.
He had a great, but hard time throughout the week. They worked with Appalachian Service Project.
